Changing clutch. for a honda accord. putting a aftermarket clutch. the rpm just couldn't go higher than 4000?

what seem to be the problem. |||if you change the clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing then it should be ok. those after market clutches are ok, i,ve used many of them. what your problem is the motor needs tuned up.|||try adjusting the clutch. maybe the throw out bearing is holding pressure on the clutch when the pedal is out causing it not to grip against the flywheel like it should.
