undo the bolts holding them together
I'm changing a clutch in a civic and i can't seperate the trans from the motor, any advice?
Hit it with a BFH right where they connect. That might do it.

once the bolts are out , youve gotta pull and wiggle ,itll come off eventually
Make double sure there isn't a bolt left holding it together or you could break the transmition case.Sometimes theres corrosion around the alignment pins,some wd 40 helps and some pry bars.
dude check the bolt near the oil filter
honda hides bolts well.be very sure you got all of them.trying to beat or pry on it will get you a two piece bellhousing,not good.
